Next month we shall see some new G-Shocks enter the world of Casio and that includes the two pack of GLS-5600LS. The watches similar to the slim DW-5600 but slighty more resistent when it comes to weatherproofing and heatproofing. If you want one make sure you’re in Carnaby St next month! If they catch on anything like the DW-5600 they will sell out QUICK!

PHANTACi and G-Shock collaborate on G-Shock’s “Shock the World Tour”. They have been inspired by Air Mail, with the envelope pattern on the straps and casing. The watch, all pink (the signature colorway of the store) has a wierd luxurious aspect to it. The watch will hit selves on August 7th ‘09 at PHANTACi!

Casio G-Shock begin to start their 6 month campaign “Shock the World”, and they started in London June 11th. The tour now focuses on Hong Kong with brand SUBCREW and hip-hop groups 24HERBS and Kiuo Ibe. Shock the World here collaborates with brands Nabiis, 24HERBS and :phunk, creating limited one-off designs of classic models such as the DW=6900 and DW-5600, chec-che-check em out!!!!

Pharell adds to his custom G-Shock collection with the new Bape x Casio gold encrusted peice. A one off as standard, it features the black chassis and the multicolored G-SHOCK lettering on the face. Probably the best custom I’ve seen thus far.

So Casio launch thier new range of Casio G-Shocks inspired by the 1980’s to celebrate their 25th anniversary – the DW5600CS.
Whats changed? Well, not much.. it’s been described as a ‘new twish on the original design, offering a typical 80s digital watch in a choice of glossy bright colours’. As you might expect, the watch has water and shock resistance, along with an EL backlight with afterglow, multi-functionaing alarm, 1/100 second stopwatch, countdown timer, flash alert and 12/24 hour clock formats.
